Change of Address

Please keep us informed of any change of address, home or mobile telephone numbers and emergency contact numbers.  We ask you to complete our ‘Data’ information form promptly.  These are sent out annually and are vital in keeping our records current.

School Attendance

Regular attendance is essential, and we ask that you inform us by telephone, letter or a note in the Home/School Diary if your child is absent.

Holidays in term time are discouraged. Any requests for holidays in term time must be made to the Headteacher.

The school follows up unexplained absences as quickly as possible and the co-operation of parents is appreciated.  The school works closely with our Educational Welfare Officer who helps support attendance.

Parents are asked not to send children to school who are feeling unwell.

Transport Arrangements

Transport to Castle School is provided by the Local Authority.  Most, if not all, vehicles have at least one escort to support children.
