Level 3 Teaching Assistants

Our Level 3 Teaching Assistants perform a number of different roles.  All are full-time 32.5 hour roles working term-time plus three training days

Class Level 3

Each class has a level 3 who has additional training and responsibilities, these include First Aid and Rebound therapy. You will be encouraged to develop an area of expertise which you will be able to disseminate to others. 

Communication focus  

This post has an enhancement to support the development of pupils communication, you will work closely with the speech and language therapist, and have opportunities for further training, such as ELKLAN, PECS, MAKTON, SCERTS.  Once trained you will be given opportunities to disseminate this training to others.


This post has an enhancement to support you to work with our most complex pupils. Further training will be given to enable you to become an intervenor as well as other training which will enhance your ability to work effectively with this group of pupils.
