Welcome to our class!
We are a supportive and inclusive KS4 community where every learner is valued, respected and encouraged to Be Kind, Be Confident and Be Creative. Building on the skills developed throughout KS3, we support our young people to take greater ownership of their learning, express their views and develop confidence in themselves and their abilities.
Learning continues to be personalised around each learner’s strengths, needs, interests and EHCP outcomes. Our golden threads of English, Maths and PSHE are embedded across the curriculum, with an increasing focus on applying these skills purposefully in everyday life and within the wider community.
Preparation for Adulthood is central to our KS4 curriculum. Through practical and meaningful experiences, learners develop greater independence, communication and self-advocacy, while building skills for relationships, community participation and their future pathways.
We encourage our learners to make choices, take on new challenges and recognise their own progress and achievements. Above all, we aim to prepare each young person for their next steps with confidence, curiosity and a growing sense of independence and belonging.
