Behaviour & wellbeing
At Castle we pride ourselves in our ability to help pupils with their behaviour. We understand that challenging behaviour (by which we mean any behaviour that impedes learning) is a form of communication of unmet need. We know that if we can help pupils meet their needs in engaging and inspiring lessons, then pupils will become cooperative and effective learners.
For more information on our approach, please see the section on our website entitled Our vision - a therapeutic school.
Please also have a browse of the documents and videos in this section. They are aimed to give you both a sense of how we approach behaviour management at school and to offer you advice and support at home.
Should you wish to discuss behaviour support for individual children, please contact the school directly. We are always happy to help.
Below are some videos on a range of aspects of behaviour and behaviour management.
