Welcome to our class!

We are a supportive and inclusive KS3 community where every learner is valued, celebrated and encouraged to Be Kind, Be Confident and Be Creative. We want our young people to feel safe, happy and confident, with a strong sense of belonging and an increasingly active role in their learning.

Learning is personalised around each learner’s strengths, needs, interests and EHCP outcomes. Our golden threads of English, Maths and PSHE are woven throughout the curriculum, alongside meaningful opportunities to develop communication, social skills, independence and positive relationships.

Our curriculum is practical, engaging and enriched with experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and a greater understanding of the world around us. As learners move through KS3, there is an increasing focus on Preparation for Adulthood, supporting them to make choices, express their views, develop independence and build the skills and confidence needed for their future.

Above all, we celebrate individuality, meaningful connections and every step of progress, supporting our learners to become increasingly confident, independent and ready for their next steps.
