Stef

"I joined Castle School over 10 years ago now, as a midday supervisor. It was my first time working in a school environment. I quickly gained confidence with all the support and experience I gained. And after feeling truly inspired by watching all the teachers and teaching assistants' amazing work with our fantastic students for 7 years, I applied to be a teaching assistant. After being in a level 2 position for 2 years I applied for a level 3 role - I'm currently in my 3rd year.

I really do love my job. We really are an amazing group of people who put all our students' needs first before anything. A true family environment. I look forward to many more years at Castle. It's a true privilege."

"I started off as an apprentice at Castle School, completing a Level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification. Shortly after completing my apprenticeship, I was promoted to a Level 3 teaching assistant post, and have done this role for the last three years, while doing a part-time distance learning degree in Early Years and Playwork. I have thoroughly enjoyed the learning experiences I have had at Castle, and the opportunities I have had to grow and develop professionally during my time here. Castle school is a truly magical place with wonderful children and staff.

Castle has given me so much experience and confidence and I am excited for what the future holds for me."
